The Wig Hanger was founded in 2009 by my mother, father, and me. My mom was an avid wig wearer who loved the versatility wigs gave her, but as her collection grew, so did the need for a better way to store and care for them. After searching for a solution and finding nothing that truly met her needs, the idea for The Wig Hanger was born.

What began as a personal need became a family vision. Together, we developed the original concept, my dad created the prototype, and it was sent off to manufacturers. My mother later traveled overseas to help finalize the design, and not long after, The Wig Hanger came to life.

From the beginning, The Wig Hanger was built with care, purpose, and a commitment to creating a practical solution for wig wearers. Over the years, my parents and I each played a role in building the brand and serving our customers, with my father becoming a driving force behind the day-to-day operations. His dedication, hard work, and care helped shape the foundation of this business.

In 2019, as my parents began taking a step back, we made the decision together that I would fully take over the company. I had a clear vision for the future of The Wig Hanger and was determined to build on everything we had created as a family. My goal was to elevate the product, enhance the customer experience, and continue growing the brand with intention.

Then in 2021, our lives changed forever when my father passed away suddenly. His loss was deeply felt, and his impact remains at the heart of this brand. The Wig Hanger stands today because of the love, sacrifice, and dedication my family poured into it, and I carry that with me in every step forward.

Today, The Wig Hanger continues to evolve while staying rooted in the values it was built on from the very beginning: family, care, innovation, and dedication. After more than a decade in the industry, we are proud to offer an updated wig stand design with improved features, including pinnable mannequin heads that allow wig T-pins to be inserted for added security and better wig maintenance.

What started as a small family idea has grown into something much greater. It has been an honor for our family to provide wig wearers with a thoughtful solution for better wig storage and maintenance.

As I continue carrying The Wig Hanger forward, I remain committed to honoring my family’s legacy while continuing to grow and strengthen the brand.
